This 7 day self-drive tour starts in Copenhagen, where colourful harbours and charming streets set the tone. Enjoy a private walking tour through the Old Town, visit royal landmarks and explore the city. The, pick up your hire car and head to Roskilde to discover Viking history at the Viking Ship Museum and Roskilde Cathedral. Continue south to Trelleborg, which is home to an impressive ring fortress and a reconstructed castle. Drive west over the Great Belt Bridge to the island of Funen, where you can visit Ladby Viking Museum located at the site of a Viking burial mound containing a 20-metre long Viking warship. On your final day, enjoy a scenic drive back to Copenhagen.
